During my free time I'm working on the following projects & certificate(s):
Certificates:
I'm currently working on getting both of these certs for Fortinet. 1 to finally have a certification under my belt and 2 because after getting these two certs I can get a free FortiGate 40F firewall, so that saves spending like $300 + whatever the price of a license is haha. After finishing these certs I think I'll work on a Microsoft license either for Office 365/Windows or Azure side as Cloud is getting more and more prominent.
Projects:
Website - This very website! I want to really invest time into this website as a kind of journal on my progress for my IT projects and the like. Once I get the site looking the way I'd like I'm going to commit to an update schedule as I also have this on my resume, so I'd like it to be kept up to date for potential employers check it out
Paperless-NGX Docker - Space is limited and I hate hoarding paper. So I setup the Paperless docker container to hoard digital copies of paperwork and receipts. It should help me with taxes as I won't have to scramble for paper when I can just have them neatly tagged and sorted in PaperlessNGX
paperless-ngxPi-Hole - Ads are annoying, uBlock does it's job but I'm planning for when I finally setup Ubiquiti in my house that I have one SSID/VLAN dedicated to working with Pi-Hole to bypass ads
